Merry Christmas Everyone!

This is my favorite picture of Bella. I hope that all of your wildest dreams come true this Chrismas. And I drew Melissa's name. She says "Neener, neener!" to you all. :)

We moved from Oregon to Arizona to be closer to Ralph's family. Not wanting to commit to a monthly bill, we decided to stay on the family property. We thought, why not build a yurt? The upside is that we are making some great memories and can tell our grand kids about the time when we lived in a yurt. The downside is... well, there really is no downside. I invite you to live vicariously as you read this blog. It might inspire you to quiet the tiny voice within that tells you to do stupid things so you can brag someday to your grandchildren.

I'm Shannon and I write this thing. I like to knit, sew, ride my bicycle and make my huge dog do things that she doesn't want to do.

Ralph is my husband. He summed up how he feels about all of this during our second night in our yurt: "Shannon, there is never a dull moment with you." He's game for anything.

Our dog, Bella, doesn't know what it is like to have a normal life. She's spoiled rotten and terribly abused at the same time. Sometimes I make her ride in a bike trailer and wear doggles. She's awfully abused.
